About Nadia Valentin, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC

I am a woman, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a friend, a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). But above all, I am a child of God-Guided by His love and purpose in all that I do.

I am a double board-certified nurse practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience, which allows me to approach care through a holistic and compassionate lens. But more than my credentials, the heart of Emmanuel lies in my lived experience.

I’ve walked through difficult pregnancies, birth trauma, medical traumas, loss, and the emotional shifts of peripartum, postpartum, and perimenopause—often in silence, believing I had to stay strong for my family. Emmanuel was born from that silence and the realization that I didn’t have to carry it alone.

Emmanuel is deeply personal to me. It’s a space where lived experience and professional expertise come together to offer support, healing, and hope. My journey taught me that while I strive to be great every day, sometimes “good enough” is more than okay.

My career has spanned a wide range of settings—including acute care, urgent care, and inpatient hospital medicine. In the outpatient space, I’ve had the privilege of serving in primary care, disability medicine, pain management, and psychiatry. And of course, all work and no play would make me a dull provider. I find balance by traveling, cooking, working out at the gym, and spending meaningful time with my family and friends. It’s in that space—between medicine and life—that I feel most whole.

Seeking support for your mental health is an act of strength, not weakness. I want to recognize your courage in taking this step. At Emmanuel, your story matters, and I’m deeply honored to support you on your journey toward healing and balance.

Do You Accept Insurance?

At Emmanuel Integrative Psychiatry & Wellness, I believe the provider-patient relationship is a cornerstone of effective care, and that relationship is built over time.  That’s why I choose to prioritize quality over quantity by prioritizing a personalized approach to each patient’s mental health journey.  Emmanuel Integrative Psychiatry & Wellness is an “out-of-network provider.” This means that patients can submit their receipts for reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits.  Emmanuel Integrative Psychiatry & Wellness is happy to provide a “Superbill” upon request.  I encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly to verify your out-of-network coverage for mental health services.  All fees are due prior to the appointment.
